Although it was a long, 2 hour drive to reach the trailhead, it was a drive well worth it. The day was beautiful, and we were treated to many breathtaking views and ice formations. We stopped at a secret bakery (Don't worry, Heidi W. . . . I won't reveal the name of Dusty's Rhodes Supermarket to anyone!) and ate so much for lunch that none of us was hungry for dinner after our second hike at Scaly Mt. ~ Joyce T.
