It rained all day yesterday and throughout the night, leaving some of the trails near the river quite muddy. But we were prepared with waterproof boots, so we made our way to the bamboo forest and then returned on the higher trails. Not a fast hike - - but a very enjoyable one. A nice way to celebrate Groundhog Day! ~ Joyce
