Itinerary:

Wear something red and let's start Valentine's Day with a 5.5 mile fast hike to get our hearts ready for love! 

We will do the outer loop trails as well as a few of the inner trails in order to get in our total mileage of 5.5 miles. Most of the hike is along the water's edge and really beautiful. There's one section were we have to climb down a few rocks and then scramble up a short steep section. However, we may skip that section depending on the condition of the trails.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for introductions and to purchase a parking pass is you don't have one. You have until 8:00 am the morning of the hike to remove yourself if something comes up.

Just a reminder - there are no restrooms here!

This hike is not for beginners - it will be fast with few breaks, some challenging hills, and lots of rocks and roots along most of the trails.

  • Parking pass or $3 for parking fee

How to Get There:
Event Directions:
Take GA 400 north from Atlanta to Exit 6 onto Northridge Road.
Travel 0.4 miles to GA 9 / Roswell Road and turn right at the light.
Follow Roswell Road for 1.8 miles.
Just after the long Chattahoochee River Bridge, turn left on Azalea Dr.
Travel 1.8 miles to Wileo Road and turn left.
In 1.3 miles Wileo makes a sharp left and becomes Lower Roswell Road.
Continue 0.7 mile and turn left at the brown Gold Branch sign.
Stay on the main road until it ends at the parking lot

There are no restrooms at this location.

There is a $3 parking fee if you do not have a CRNRA Annual Park Pass.
