Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Come ride with us on Hwy GA 400. All lanes will be closed so we can ride safely. The promoters state " Imagine as you soar down the entrance ramp at Holcomb Bridge and you get the greatest feeling of freedom as you take to the Hwy. Join 2,000 other riders as you embark on a memorable ride of ...45, 60, or 100 miles throughout the best roads in North Georgia filled with horse farms and small country roads." AOCers will be riding the 45 mile route or more. There are rest stops every 15 miles and great entertainment at the end along with a great meal.

Registration opens at 5:30am. We'll meet by 6 am in front of the registration. Parking is at the Sky Zone in the Kings Market shopping center. We will begin the ride together at 6:30am with the whole group. No one is required to ride as a group, different paces for differnt folks. All AOCers are expected to ride a minimum of 45 miles and may ride the longer routes if desirable.

All riders must register at http://ga400century.com/ the price rises as the event date becomes closer. The cost is currently $40 which includes Tshirt, water bottle, food, and entertainment.
