AOC Monthly Social - NEW WEEKEND DATE!!!

If you've never been to a social or have a hard time getting to a weekday social, here's a weekend social just for you! Come celebrate spring at Fado's rooftop patio, voted one of the coolest rooftops in Atlanta! More games and prizes await you!  Join the Atlanta Outdoor Club for our May social on Sunday, May 22, starting at 5:00 pm.  There is a bar on the rooftop and there will be specials for happy hour on appetizers & beverages. 

If  this will be one of your first events, ask your greeters to introduce you to one of our current trip leaders.  They’ll be able to tell you about some of their own upcoming outdoor events.

Parking is $3.00 if you park in the garage directly ACROSS  the street from the Pub at  the Buckhead Atlanta Complex (BA Complex). The parking deck is BEHIND this complex off North Fulton.  Make sure you get your ticket validated at the bar.  You can also valet at the pub or park in one of the many metered parking spots around the Pub.  The garage is very easy to get to just make sure it is the BA Complex as there are two garages on North Fulton.    

 In addition to our numerous outdoor events such as hiking, backpacking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, caving, etc., the Atlanta Outdoor Club holds a monthly social gathering. This month we will be meeting at Fado Irish Pub in Buckhead.   Look for our sign-in table and make sure to fill out a name tag so that you can be properly introduced to the AOC! 

     This is a great opportunity to meet and network with fellow club members in a casual setting. Come for a drink, or enjoy one of the excellent menu selections. 

     The social begins at 5:00 pm, but if you arrive early, grab a drink at the main bar while you wait.  After 5:00pm the dedicated wait staff will be available in our reserved room to take your drink and food orders.   If you can't make it by 5:00 pm, just come when you can.

From 85 North – Exit Cheshire Bridge Road (#88)  take a right, Take a left ontoBuford highway at the first light, Take right at Sydney Marcus at the first light. Go through 4 lights and take a right onto Piedmont Rd. Take a left onto Pharr Rd. Right onto N. Fulton.   The deck is located on the left right after you pass over Buckhead Avenue.   The pub is located on Buckhead Avenue.

From 85 South – Exit Monroe Dr/ Piedmont Rd exit. Take a left onto Sidney Marcus Rd. at first traffic light. . Go through 4 lights and take a right onto Piedmont Rd. Take a left onto Pharr Rd. Right onto N. Fulton. The deck is located on the left right after you pass over Buckhead Avenue.  The pub is located on Buckhead Avenue.

From 75 North/South – Exit at West Paces. Take West Paces up to intersection of Peactree and turn right. Take left at first traffic light, Buckhead Avenue.  To get to the parking deck go to North Fulton and make a left and you will see the deck sign at the BA Complex.  

Attire is anything you wish, but it's a very casual event.  Nothing fancy required!

In the event of rain, we will move inside.
