Join us for a weekend car camping trip above the Ocoee River at the Chilhowee Campground - near Cleveland. We have a large group area reserved. There are real bathrooms and showers onsite. The Chilhowee campground area has the following adventures waiting for you: A beautiful lake at the top: canoe, kayak, swim, float Hiking trails Waterfalls A sky full of stars at night Peace Quiet Feel free to meet at the campground any time after noon on Friday. There won’t be an official carpool, but we’ll assist with connecting you with a ride when possible. If you can’t make it till after work on Friday - or Saturday - no problem - come when you can. The cost includes the campground Friday and Saturday night, dinner Saturday night (steak or salmon - your choice), breakfast Sunday morning. We will help arrange white water rafting on the Ocoee for those who are interested. | |||||||

Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC: - Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event. - Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid. - Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant. - No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event. - Read the event description carefully for additional information, and contact the trip leader(s) with any questions. * We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines while participating in AOC events. | |||||||

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review the AOC cancellation policy. *Note: Partial attendance is ok, but cost will remain the same - all extra funds go to the AOC - and we aren't interested in splitting hairs if you don't want a meal. If weather is a factor and the food has already been purchased - there will be no refund. If the food hasn't already been purchased - we'll do our best to refund as much as possible to everyone with guidance from AOC officers.
Refund cutoff date: 7/31/2016 - full refund (less $3 for Paypal fee/club expenses) if you cancel by this date - no refund after this date. |
