Itinerary:

Join us for a nice evening hike at Vickery Creek.  We'll cover approximately 4.5 miles and many of the beautiful trails at Vickery Creek including a stop at the top of the falls to take in the view.  We will enjoy a moderate pace, or a little faster depending on our groups pace.

HOOKED ON HIKING...After our hike, we will head just around the corner to Fish Camp for some post-hike dinner.  The dinner is optional (dutch treat) but you must attend the hike to recieve credit for the event.  Fish Camp drives to the Gulf weekly to purchase fresh, never frozen, seafood directly from fishermen.  Entrees range from $19 - $30.  We plan to sit outside on the patio. 


We will meet at the trail head parking area off of Oxbo Road - Free Parking.

Dogs are permitted on this event, but please note that you will have to leave them in your vehicle if you join us after for dinner.

We well meet at the trail head parking area off of Oxbo Road.

From GA 400: Get off at Holcomb Bridge Road GA 140 and head west towards Roswell.  Take a left at the first redlight which is Dogwood Road (there is a Krystal there).  Take a right at the first redlight which is Grimes Bridge Road.  After crossing the bridge over Big Creek (aka Vickery Creek here) take a left at the redlight which is Oxbo Road.  The lot is on the left just past Dobbs Rd.

From GA 9: Heading north in GA 9 (aka South Atlanta Street), pass GA 120 (aka Marietta Highway) then watch for Oxbo Road on the right at a Chevron station.  The lot is just down on the right.
