Itinerary:

Come and learn the basics of paddling, Sunday evening. I am leading an event that is finished at 5:30 so I will already be there with 3 kayaks, pdfs (life jackets and paddles). One of which I will be  using and 2 that I will be alternating with each of you, so that you may learn about paddling. Since I'm finished at 530pm you may arrive at 6pm to start. We will be learning the basics, equipment, loading equipment, padding up and diwn river. Depending on how many attend, we may be able to paddle a mile or 2. If you have a kayak or canoe (equipment) and would just like to attend so that you can assist, enjoy a relaxing paddle or learn how to paddle come join us.

I am listing this as a D1 for a 1  hour spot, but am willing to stay a little later to give everyone time to paddle so long as we are finished by 8:30 (park rules off water by dark).

This is free, and I am delighted to teach the basics to those who want to learn one of my favorite outdoor adventure sports!

We will meet at Azalea Park in the parking lot across from the Atlanta Rowing Club 205 Azalea Drive.
