Please join us for a 4 1/2 mile hike on the beautiful trails at Henderson Park in Tucker. This park is a beautiful 121 acre park with a native plant walk on both paved and natural walking paths. We will loop around Lake Erin twice stopping for a short break at a small cascading waterfall and another short break at the lake. There are no extended climbs on this hike and the trails are generally level with some gradual inclines. The hike will end with one last stop at the most beautiful Magnolia tree.

Please arrive a few minutes early to check in as we will be leaving on time.

There are no restrooms at this location. Parking is free.

We will meet in the main parking lot. (more info below)

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

[1] Take I-285 East/South and get off at Exit 37 - Lavista Road
[2] Turn left onto Lavista Road (going outside 285) and go 1.5 miles and make a left on Henderson Road.
[3] Go 1 mile and make a right into the parking lot.

NOTE: There are 3 parking lots. One will say community garden and the other soccer fields. We are NOT meeting there. We will be meeting in the parking lot of the main entrance where you will see small gates and a stone wall that says Henderson Park. There is a picture of that stone wall at the top of this page.
