Itinerary:

It is time for a NEW HIKE for the fall and winter months at Riverside Park!

 Riverside Park is conveniently located between Sandy Springs, and Roswell, GA. The park has paved trails that go along the Chattahoochee River, so that we may enjoy some of the excellent views along the river walk while energizing to start our  weekend.   The park also has a Splash Park for children, docks for fishing, picnic areas and a playground. 

However, for this event we are simply walking at a moderate pace to energize and enjoy nature. We will be starting our hike at 7:00 am and plan to complete our 5-mile walk by 8:30 am.  You willl also be finished in time to make another event on Thursday or stay over for YOGA.

Perfect for beginners and newcomers!

Because the trail loops back into the parking lot at the 1/2 point,  if you just want to hike three miles this is an option for some.  

Also t he park has bathrooms and concession stand that are located in front of the playground. You will see them when you pull into the parking lot. In either case, please meet in front of the concession and bathroom area.

Special Invitation:
Afterwards I will have 30 minutes or so of YOGA in the park at Riverside for those who want to practice or learn YOGA. Bring your own mat. I hope that you will stay for the optional event.
