Itinerary:

This loop follows a number of trails in the Paces Mill Area of the Chattahochee NRA. The walking distance is about 4.5 miles, of which about two miles are on paved trails or sidewalks, including the Rottenwood Creek Trail.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

From downtown Atlanta drive north on I 75 to Exit 256. At the bottom of the ramp take a left on Mt. Paran, and an immediate right on US 41/Cobb Parkway. Proceed 1 mile to the Chattahoochee River. Immediately after crossing the river take a left onto the access road, which curves backwards. Follow the access road to the parking lot.

Notes:

Sunset is at 5:58 PM and twilight ends at 6:25 PM.

If the number of people that participate significantly exceeds the maximum group size, then they will be split into two groups, which will walk independently. The second group will be led by other Trip Leaders that have registered for this event.
