Itinerary:

Sweetwater Creek Park in Lithia Springs Georgia is an awesome trail!.

It is one of the most visited state parks in all of Georgia and is also one of my favorite parks to hike. I have hiked these trail many times, and find the trails to be some of the best trails in Georgia's State Parks. Absolutely Beautiful!  

We will start at the visitors center and hike thru the white,  red,   and part of the yellow trail for a fast 10 miles and back to the vistors center. 

 

We will be moving at a fast pace with only a couple of short breaks.   

Be ready to have fun and enjoy one of the best state parks in all of Georgia and get some exercise!

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Take I-20 west to exit 44 (Thornton Road). Make a left on Thornton Road (South) and then a right onto Blairs Bridge Road. Travel 2.1 miles to Mount Vernon Road and make a left. Drive about one mile to the park entrance and make a left on Factory Shoals Road. Drive about half a mile to the parking lot near the visitor's center.
