Itinerary: | |||||||
Cherokee Trail runs around Stone Mountain, and is a nice, wooded trail with plenty of lake views. We'll hike approximately 7 miles keeping a moderate to fast pace with few rest stops. We might hike only on one side of the Mountain and still get our 7 miles. The meeting point is outside the restrooms at the Confederate Hall (where people climbing the mountain normally start).
