Itinerary:

Join us for a mid morning fun hike at Gold Branch on the Chattahoochee.  We will start the hike at a moderate pace and hike up to the ridge.  We then go along the top of the ridge to the back of the park before decending to hike along Bull Sluice lake.   The trail will take us up and down several hills before leading back to the parking lot. 

After the hike we will have an optional  lunch at The Cuban Diner.   This place is known for authentic cuban food and it has a good following.  More information is at http://mariettacubandiner.com/

Coming from downtown Atlanta drive north on Roswell Road; 0.8 miles past I 285 turn left onto Johnson Ferry Road and drive 3.8 miles.  (Note that Johnsons Ferry bears left at Abernathy.) After you cross the river yout turn right onto Lower Roswell Road at Tijuana Joe's and drive 2.2 miles. Turn right at the park sign.
