Itinerary:

The rain will be passing through today and most trails will be muddy; but the asphalt path we'll be taking will be excellent for keeping our shoes clean. This is the perfect little stroll for beginners who can't yet handle distance, hills, roots, rocks, and a fast pace. We'll have none of these!

We'll begin at Riverside Park on Riverside Road, which has several bathrooms and a large parking lot. As we stroll toward Don White Park, we'll encounter 4 ArtAround Roswell sculptures that have recently been installed at parks throughout Roswell. We'll take time to examine the sculptures and perhaps take a picture or two. The hike itself will be an enjoyable chance to meet people and enjoy the outdoors, plus we'll see some inviting views of the Chattahoochee as we stroll along Riverside Walk. The sculptures themselves are an added bonus and focus.

Bring an umbrella or a rain jacket just in case we have a last remaining sprinkle during our hike.

As you enter the park, drive to the right and park in that lot. Bathrooms are available here, so allow time to use them before meeting the group. We'll gather our group on the sidewalk in front of the bathrooms.
