PLEASE REMOVE ALL VALUABLES FROM THE INSIDE OF YOUR CAR so as not to attract any vandalism. We will doing a lollipop hike. The stem goes from Pernoshal Park over to the 2 mile Brook Run Loop which is the pop. Pernoshal Park opened 4/23/16. It is a 5-acre park that includes a pavilion, bathrooms, basketball courts, a pickle-ball court, a large open field area for play and a connecter trail which crosses Nancy Creek to Brook Run Park. Pickle-ball was invented in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, outside Seattle, WA. The goal of Pickle-ball then and now was to create a game that is fun for every member of the family. It is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It is played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes and as doubles or singles. Brook Run Park opened in approximately 2011. It is a 102-acre park and is the largest park in Dunwoody. The park features include a large children’s playground, 2-mile trail loop, skate park, dog park, community garden, and event facility. Come shine your light on a fun trail through the parks & woods. | |||||||||||||||
