Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike through the beautiful trails of Vickery Creek.  We will start on the Roswell side and hike into the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.        

We will keep a steady moderate pace with only 1 short stop to rest about half way through.  There are some moderate climbs but nothing too hard.  The trails do have rocks and roots so hiking poles might be helpful. 

NOTE:  This is not a fast fitness hike but please do not sign up unless you are sure you can keep a steady pace of at least 2.5 an hr because we have to be back before dark.      

There are restrooms at this location.

Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and use the bathroom as we will leave on time.

NOTE......We are meeting at the Roswell Mill entrance where the parking is free.  Directions are below.

We are meeting behind the shops at the Roswell Mill Center where the parking is free.  It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect.  Keep driving down the road until you get to the big parking lot at the very bottom of the hill.  For a zoomable map or satellite view of that spot click the rectangular blue and green "event location" icon near the top of this article.
