Itinerary:

We will hike in the morning to beat the heat and then have an optional lunch at a local restaurant.

If this sounds good to you join us for a mid morning fun hike at Gold Branch on the Chattahoochee.  We will start the hike at a moderate pace and hike up to the ridge.  We then go along the top of the ridge to the back of the park before decending to hike along Bull Sluice lake.   The trail will take us up and down four hills before leading back to the parking lot. 

We will go up four hills so this hike is not for beginners; though the pace will not make it a fitness hike.

After the hike we will have an optional  lunch at a local restaurant in Roswell.

There is a parking fee at this location and there are no restrooms.  Do not leave your valubles visable in your car.

Coming from downtown Atlanta drive north on Roswell Road; 0.8 miles past I 285 turn left onto Johnson Ferry Road and drive 3.8 miles.  (Note that Johnsons Ferry bears left at Abernathy.) After you cross the river yout turn right onto Lower Roswell Road at Tijuana Joe's and drive 2.2 miles. Turn right at the park sign.
