Itinerary:

From the park office we will climb around 900 ft on the East Ridge Trail to the top of the falls. A short hike will take us to the Lodge. We will then walk part of the Fitness Trail and return to the top of the falls via the Len Foote Hike Inn Trail. From the top of the Falls we will go down a few hundred steps on the West Ridge Staircase and continue our hike on the West Ridge Falls Access Trail, the Spring Trail, the Mt. Laurel Loop and the Creek Trail, back to the park office. We will have lunch on the trail.

Amicalola State Park is 15 miles northwest of Dawsonville on GA 52. Take 400 North to GA 53 (on your left) Take GA 53 west to GA 183 north to GA 52 east. Park is on your left.

Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $48.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
