Itinerary:

We will meet on top of the Falls at 10:00 am and follow the AT Approach Trail for 4.5 miles until its intersection with the Hike Inn Trail which we will follow for 1 mile until we reach the Inn. After having lunch we will continue on the Hike Inn Trail back to our starting point. The Hike Inn does not provide lunch, so you will have to bring your own.

Amicalola State Park is 15 miles northwest of Dawsonville on GA 52. Take 400 North to GA 53 (on your left) Take GA 53 west to GA 183 north to GA 52 east. Park is on your left.

Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $48.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

There is a $5 GA DNR parking fee per vehicle, payable at Amicalola Falls State Park unless you display an annual pass.
