Itinerary:

This will be a tamer hike than normal but you should still bring a headlamp/small flashlight for the last couple minutes. We will likely cover between 5 and 5.5 miles in 2 hours with several stops. Additionally for once we will be staying on the beaten path. The normal event will be back next week.

WE WILL MEET AT THE INDIAN TRAIL ENTRANCE WHICH IS DOWN A SHORT DIRT ROAD, GO ALL THE WAY TO THE END! There is a $3 parking fee payable with cash.

Additionally if it is raining don't bother calling to see if it is still on. The answer is yes it is. Finally we will be leaving on time and you should be there a few minutes early. If you are late we will not be waiting and the nature of the event makes it very difficult for you to catch up or find us.

Enough water. Only you know how much you need. Don't underestimate

Headlamp/Small Flashlight/Cellphone light

Life jacket (There's a sign so it must be true...)

Event Directions:

From I -285 Eastbound - Take exit 22, Northside Drive, New Northside Drive, Powers Ferry Road. - Right on Northside Drive. - Travel 1.1 miles to Indian Trail (on right) and turn right. - Indian Trail to the park entrance (0.4 miles). - Take gravel park entrace road 0.3 miles to parking lot.

From I-285 Westbound - Take exit 22, Northside Drive, New Northside Drive, Powers Ferry Road. - Straight to second traffic light. - Left on Northside Drive - Travel 1.1 miles to Indian Trail (on right) and turn right. - Indian Trail to the park entrance (0.4 miles). - Take gravel park entrace road 0,3 miles to parking lot.

From I-75 - Exit onto I-285 Eastbound - Follow directions for "From I- 285 Eastbound."

Notes:

There is a $5 parking fee or you can use your Chattahoochee Rec Area annual pass / national parks annual pass.
