PLEASE READ ALL:

You must find your own way to the MARTA MidTown Transit Station. We'll meet here at the door going out to 10th Street. You'll want our cell numbers in case you have trouble - but don't plan on being late to the MidTown Station. Here is a Google Map to the Midtown Station:

We will start our urban hike at the MARTA MidTown Transit Station and head down 10th St past Piedmont Park and Park Tavern to the beginning of the Eastside Beltline Trial (1 mile). We will travel down the entire length of the paved Beltline (2.25 miles), passing through Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park seeing lots of art along the way. We will make a left on Irvin Street and a right on Krog Street and briefly check out the Krog Street Market. There is free water and restrooms here should you need it. As a group we will decide how long to hang out at New Realm and Krog. We will plan on having enough time to eat a bite at one of these 2 locations - and time to browse the other location.

The entire hike is flat but please be sure you are able to hike 7 miles at a moderate pace. We will stay together as a group on this hike. You will need a headlamp, flashlight or other device to light your path on the way back - it will be dark.

Required Items to Bring:

Water, gatorade, or whatever you prefer for hydration, snacks if you need them, appropriate clothing for weather. Money if you want to sample the food/drinks/shopping at Krog and New Realm.

This event assumes you can figure out the best way for you to get to the MARTA MidTown Transit Station in time for the event. I recommend catching the MARTA train closest to you and riding to this station. Otherwise, you can park somewhere and walk here - that part is up to you. There WILL be a cost to ride MARTA.
