Itinerary:

Join us for a morning walk along Lake Lanier. The Little Ridge Trail is comprised of several paths which average about 2 miles of trail.  The trail meanders along shoreline of Lake Lanier. It is a an easy trail with little elevation change and very scenic. The trail is approximately 2 miles so we'll walk it twice, reversing directions the second time and picking up a little more distance crossing the island bridge if the water is low enough.

Dogs are welcome. The trail is used by persons walking their dog(s) quite often, so please only bring dogs that are well behaved amongst other dogs.

 We will begin atthe trail head which is clearly marked. As you travel through the parking lot the trail head will be at the end on the right, before the parking lot turns left. If you reach the boat ramp, you turned left.

3295 Lanier Beach South Rd  Cumming , GA  30041

From the South:

GA400 N to exit 14 Hwy 20, go East and turn Left at 2nd light, Sanders rd. Turn right (E) on Buford dam Rd.

Follow approximately 1.8 miles to Lanier Beach South, turn left. Follow to end of rd to Lanier Beach Park / Little Ridge Trail.

 From Haw Creek: 

South to Hwy 20, turn Right on Hwy 20 (Buford Hwy), Right onto Samples Rd, Left onto Lanier Beach South, follow to the end. The parking lot is at the end of the street. Continue straight to Trailhead. Do Not turn left to the boat ramp - you will have missed the trailhead if you do so.
