Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike through the beautiful trails of the Jones Bridge unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. 

We will be hiking at a steady but moderate pace only stopping to hydrate.  There are a couple of hills but otherwise the trail is flat along the Chattahoochee River.  The trail has rocks and roots so hiking poles might be helpful.

If you are looking for a fast fitness hike then this is not the hike for you.

NOTE.....We will start the hike at the Wine Store on the corner of Holcomb Bridge Road and Barnwell.  We will walk down Barnwell into Rosemont Park and then into Jones Bridge.  

Parking is free.  Please park facing the Wine Store closest to Kroger.

From GA 400, take exit 7a, and head East 4.1 miles through the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Nesbitt Ferry Road to the junction of Barnwell Road.   We will meet in the Wine Store parking lot.  Address to the Wine Store is:
