Itinerary:

Join me on a new silent hike to enjoy the sounds of nature and to focus on the "here and now". This is one of my favorite parks because it's quiet and you can walk along the river and also along a creek. The silent part of the hike will be the first hour of the hike.

The 566-acre Gwinett park, very close to Stone Mountain Park, has roughly 12 miles of trails - some hiking, some biking, some equestrian, and some mixed use.

We will be hiking approximately 4.5 miles, starting at the Yellow River. We will remain in the equestrian trails and take some of the biking and hiking trails to return to the parking lot. We will break our silence 20 minutes before we get back to the parking lot.

We will meet at the parking lot next to the pavilion and the restrooms.

Take exit 39B to merge onto US-78 E/Stone Mountain Hwy toward Snellville/Athens

In 9.3 miles, Turn right onto E Park Pl Blvd

Continue straight onto Rockbridge Rd

Continue onto Annistown Rd 

Turn right onto Juhan Rd SW

Destination will be on the left
