Itinerary:
We'll start out early Saturday morning to get down to Lumpkin and Providence Canyon.  We'll hike down into the canyon - approximately three to four miles to our campsite.  To get to our campsite we will hike down through a (potentially wet) shallow riverbed.  We will setup camp, have lunch, and do some exploratory hiking.  We may go check out the South Glory Hole (you may want to bring your bathing suit).

After an evening of comaraderie, we'll hike out the next morning.  We will be hiking up to some breathtaking views of the canyon on your left side. soon you'll come to an area where there is abandoned cars youll see some of trees growing out of the car, from there we'll hike along the canyon edges (don't worry there is a nice wooden fence built by the state park) will hike for few more miles enjoying the views and eventually back to the vehicles.  This is a loop hike.

Total distance (for both days) will be approximately 12 miles give or take depending on our exploratory hiking.

If you enjoy nature photography youll enjoy this hike!
