Itinerary:
We'll put in at the boat ramp and then paddle clockwise around the perimeter of the lake. Highlights will include passing under the quaint, 127- year-old wooden bridge, listed in the "World Guide to Covered Bridges," and floating past the 150-year-old grist mill. We'll pause for a snack or light lunch - in our boats - as we are treated to a live concert from the 732-bell Carillon. The Carillon was donated to the Park after being exhibited at the 1964 World's Fair in New York City. After lunch, we'll continue exploring along the banks of the lake and return to our starting point to take out. This paddle is suitable for beginners; however, we will be on flat water, so consistent paddling will be required.
