You may be moved to the waiting list until we hear back from you and approve you for this event * * This is a 50 mile road ride - if you're not sure you can ride the entire 50 mile distance, this is probably not the event for you * * Must feel comfortable road riding in traffic * * 10 rider limit *
Join us for this popular early cool morning scenic & low traffic bike ride starting at the Budweiser Plant in Cartersville, GA. The Bud Plant allows bike riders to park at the plant and ride.

Our Group Riding Plan Our plan is to bike ride the popular 48 mile BBC route (Plus 2 additional miles to give us a total of 50 miles of saddle time) at a 2 wheel moderate pedal pace - not too fast, not too slow - and enjoy the rolling hills and amazing countryside backroad scenery. We will roll out at 7:40 AM sharp to beat the heat! There are hills, some more challenging, please note: this is NOT a flat greenway or Silver Comet ride, or speed race to see who can finish first. We will plan to stay together as a group, stopping every few miles at turns to re-group & re-energize with a few gulps of water or Gatorade and snacks. Optional: After the ride, we will plan to gather at the Bud Plant parking area picnic benches for a post ride lunch under the trees, so bring a sandwich and beverage of your choice! Up front notice: This is a no-drop ride so no one will be left behind, but if you can't keep up with the group and/or follow the bike course direction markings, you may be asked to turn around - you're responsible for finding your way back to the start, so plz carry your phone with map app loaded. Road bike strongly recommended, unless you can keep up with the other cyclists on a hybrid bike. Please plan to show up 5-10 minutes before the start of the ride for check-in, intros, safety review, changes, and riding plan.
Our Scenic Bike Route
48 mile BBC route + 2 miles = 50 Total Miles
Important Notes Social distancing and CDC COVID-19 guidelines and recommendations will be followed For safety, helmet required to be worn during this event. No helmet, no ride. Wear light or bright colored clothing and working lights on both front and back of your bike for visibility. We recommend a road bike although you can ride a hybrid. Carry your cell phone (Turned on) for emergencies, Uber ride, GPS mapping, etc. Budweiser lets riders park in the lot to the right. Park on the side away from the factory along the edge of the lot (they are closed on Sundays). Please do not litter, change in the open, or urinate in their bushes.
