Itinerary:

We will walk North along the shady banks of the Chattahoochee all the way to the dam at Lake Lanier, and return to our cars along a slightly different route. On the way back we may see some deer. This hike offers nice views of the river, the dam, and Lake Lanier, so you may want to bring your camera.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Go north on I 85, to I 985. Continue a little under 4 miles on I 985 until Exit 4. At the top of the ramp take a left onto SR 20. Proceed about 7.6 miles on SR 20 and take a right onto River Club Rd and proceed 0.6 miles. Turn right onto Trout Place Rd. and proceed 0.4 miles. We will meet in front of 3195 Trout Place Rd., Cumming, GA 30041, which is right before the entrance to the Fish Hatchery. Parking is allowed at designated areas on the side of the road.

Dogs should be on leash
