Itinerary:

It has been too long since I last enjoyed Table Rock State Park in South Carolina. Join me as I take in this beautiful park.

We will meet at the Nature Center parking lot at 9am. We will head uphill on the Table Rock Trail for about 2 miles before an intersection with the Ridge Trail, a right turn will keep us headed in the right direction. Another 1.5 miles until we get to the Table Rock view point. It is awesome! After taking in the views and perhaps an early lunch, we will head back down the trail back to the intersection with the Ridge Trail, this time we head straight to head towards Pinnacle Mountain. After we enjoy the views from Pinnacle, we will head down the Pinnacle Mountain Trail towards our next view at the Bald Knob viewpoint. We stay on the Pinnacle Mountain Trail until the merge with the Carrick Creek Trail which eventually takes us back to the Table Rock Trail and our cars.

This is a difficult D5 hike with about 3800 feet of gain, recent D5 experience is required to join the fun.
