Itinerary:

We never get tired of hiking at Vickery Creek.  It offers so much with a variety of trails and routes, beautiful views of the water along the creeks and at the dam, and occasional glimpses of wildlife.  We'll keep a moderate pace through the trails on this one, with pauses for water and catching our breath when needed.  PLEASE NOTE WE ARE PARKING AT RIVERSIDE PARK!  There's plenty of free parking here and bathrooms are available!  We'll cross the street and enter the Vickery Creek CRNRA from here.

The trails at Vickery are not easy.  There are some hills as well as trails with plenty of roots and rocks, but with a moderate pace, it should be manageable for folks who have some hiking experience. It is NOT recommended for true beginning hikers!

Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to use the bathroom, check in, and do intros.

575 Riverside Road

Roswell, GA 30075

From Northbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400
Take exit 6 for Northridge Road 
Stay RIGHT onto Northridge Road crossing bridge 
Take first RIGHT onto Dunwoody Place, go 1.3 miles 
Turn RIGHT at Ga. 9 (Roswell Road), go 0.6 miles 
Cross river turn RIGHT onto Riverside Road, cross the bridge and the park is on the right. 

From Southbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400
Take exit 7 for Ga. 140 (Holcomb Bridge Road) 
Turn RIGHT onto Ga. 140 East (Holcomb Bridge Road), go 0.2 mile 
Turn LEFT at Dogwood Road, go 1.0 miles 
Continue STRAIGHT on Riverside Road, go 1.0 mile 
Turn LEFT at park entrance - - just before crossing the bridge at Atlanta Road.
