Please join me at Simpsonwood - a little known park tucked away along the east bank of the Chattahoochee River in Norcross. Rated as a D2 hike - there is very little elevation - mostly flat, easy terrain although there are tripping hazards (roots). leisurely pace - NOT moderate, NOT fast. Great hike for beginners and others that want to visit this beautiful park

Meet at the benches right in front of the restrooms - hike begins promptly at 10:00- please arrive 10 minutes early. Dogs are welcome to join us but they MUST be leashed.

Bathroom is usually open - but I can't promise - plan accordingly

This is a Gwinnett County Park - no parking fee needed. Social Distancing - please leave space between yourself and your fellow hikers and others that are using the trails.

Entrance to the park is directly across the street from Simpsonwood Methodist Church

After you turn in go a few hundred yards and you will see the bathrooms next to the parking lot. That is where we will meet.
