Itinerary:

Peachtree City is one of the first master-planned communities in the country. When the developers established the town in 1959 they had visions of a series of villages accessible by wooded trails. The wooded trails have become more than 85 miles of paved recreational paths, frequented by golf carts, bicycles and pedestrians. We will walk a loop that includes most of the trails within the Line Creek Nature Area, including portions of the Ridge Trail, Mule Trail and Creek Trail, past a nice pond, and all of Line Creek Trail. We will then walk about 1 mile back to our cars along paved golf cart trails and a short connecting trail.

Water and good hiking shoes.

We will meet at a parking lot next to a T.J. Maxx. The address is: 204 Line Creek Dr, Peachtree City, GA 30269. This parking lot is very close to Line Creek but it is of easier access.

Proceed South on Interstate 85 to Exit 61. At the end of the ramp take a left. Proceed about 11 miles on GA 75 South. Turn right onto GA54 West and STAY ON THE LEFT LANE. After about 0.4 miles take a left and drive to the parking lot.

IMPORTANT: The instructions in Google Maps on how to reach the Line Creek Nature Area are incomplete. Don't rely on them.
