Itinerary:

We will hike a recently opened trail on that part of Cochran Mill Park that is west of Cochran Mill Parkway. The trail runs deep into the forest. After reaching Bear Creek it follows it downstream until Henry Mills Falls. It then climbs the hills and loops back. The trail is well marked, there is little elevation change, and hardly any mud. I have often seen deer in this area.

Event Directions:

Proceed south on I 85 until Exit 69 (South Fulton Parkway), which is a couple of miles south of the airport exit. Proceed on South Fulton Pkwy approximately 14.7 miles to Cochran Mill Rd. Turn right on Cochran Mill Rd. and proceed about a quarter of a mile. The parking lot will be on your left.
