Itinerary:

Join me on one of my favorite hikes in North Georgia.

We will start our adventure in the Dockery Lake Campground. Here we will enjoy the beautiful lake to start our hike. We will hike up the Dockery Lake Trail, passing streams and catching glimpses of the mountain views and even see a small waterfall. When we intersect the AT, we will make a left turn and head  towards Preachers Rock for one of the best overlooks in the area. Not stopping for lunch yet, we continue on to Woody Gap for our turn around.  Back up to Preachers Rock for lunch, followed by a long downhill back to our cars.

We will be moving on the fast side of moderate, especially on the downhills. Recent D5 experience is required to join the fun. I reserve the right to move you to the waiting list if you do not have the necessary experience with the AOC.
