Itinerary:

Lets get a hike in before the rain comes !

We will hike through the beautiful trails of the Vickery Creek unit of the Chattachoochee River National Recreation Area.  

We will hike 5 miles in 2 hours at a steady pace stopping only to hyrate a couple of times.   

There are some moderate climbs but nothing too hard.   The trails have rocks and roots so hiking poles are helpful.   

There are no restrooms at this location.

Parking is free

Please arrive a few minutes early to check in as we will leave on time.

NOTE....Oxbo Road is closed at Atlanta Street.  You have to enter Oxbo from Grimes Bridge only.

We will be meeting in the parking lot on Oxbo Road.  Oxbo is closed at Atlanta Street.  You have to enter Oxbo from Grimes Bridge Road.  For a zoomable map please click on the green and blue icon at the top of this page.
