Itinerary: | |||||||
We will follow Mulberry Creek through a shaded forest and cross the Creek on stones 18 times. If the creek happens to be high, we might even get our feet wet -- which we may want to do anyway to enjoy a cold water treatment for our feet and ankles. The Creek hike is a "lariet" through the Hyde Farm County Park with the "noose" in Johnson Ferry North. After the creek and a river walk, we will make our way through the Hyde Farm which dates to the 1830s Terrain: rugged creek banks and stepping stones; bird area with high grass and overgrowth Pace: up to 3.0 mph avg. with 60% up to 3.3-3.7mph
| |||||||
How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | From Johnson Ferry Rd turn on to Lower Roswell Rd (towards Roswell). Hyde Rd is on the right and clearly marked. Hyde Rd can be accessed from the other end of Lower Roswell rd (Timber Ridge/Willeo traffic island at the end of the riverwalk) to Lower Roswell Rd anf Hyde Farm will be after Gold Branch on the left. Go all the way to the end of Hyde Rd and park when you see the gazebo.
