Itinerary: | |||||||
Join me for another TGIF edition, this time in Island Ford! We'll cover 4.5 miles starting with the lollipop trail and then heading towards the visitor center and back. We will stop to enjoy the scenery and hydrate, but expect to keep a steady pace throughout the hike.
Let's meet at the first parking lot to your left. Prepare to come a few minutes early to pay the $5 parking fee or to purchase an annual pass at the Visitor’s Center.
Dogs are welcome but must be on leash at all times in accordance with Chattahoochee NRA park rules.
(Thanks Tony C for the picture!)
