Itinerary: | |||||||
Let's go for a beautiful zen morning paddle up the Chattahoochee River. We will begin at Azalea Park and paddle upstream toward Roswell and 400. We will paddle for about an hour and then return with a stop to explore the creek. We'll look for birds, turtles, and other wildlife. This event is appropriate for strong beginners who can handle the upstream current. This is a bring your own boat event. NO BLOW-UP KAYAKS, CANOES OR PADDLE BOARDS. Timeline:
8:00am - We will meet at Azalea Park in the parking lot (across from the Atlanta Rowing Club with the light and boat ramp, nearby bathrooms). Unload quickly and be ready to go. 8:10am - get on the river. 10:00am - back home, help each other load boats. This is a bring your own boat event.
