Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Join us on this classic hike. We will start at the Nature Center and hike up the challenging, rugged and scenic Table Rock Trail. At the top after a 2000 ft climb we are rewarded with outstanding views from the imposing granite dome. From there we make our way to Pinnacle Mountain which can be an arduous climb. These trails lead us by streams, waterfalls and scenic views.

We will snack and lunch along the way.

There is a 0.4 mile (each way) spur trail from Pinnacle Mountain to Mill Creek Falls which we hope we can take. Current reports are showing that is is overgrown with some blowdowns but I suspect it is par for the course for our AOC trekkers. We will see when we get there.

There is a $6 fee to get in to the park ($3.75 for Seniors over 65)

This is hard trail so previous D5 experience is required. We will be averaging 2.8mph throughout the hike.

The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver.
