Itinerary:

Calling all history buffs....   

Our special guest is Michael Hitt who is a historical researcher, author, former Roswell police officer and City of Roswell's historian.  You've heard the legends now come and hear the facts.   Michael will be sharing his knowledge of 10,000 years of history along the Chattahoochee River.    

We will be walking approx 4 miles with an estimated time of 3 hours.  Please note this is an estimated time due to questions and answers.   This hike will be on pavement and in sun.  If you are sun sensitive please bring a hat or sunscreen.    

We will be meeting near the pavilion next to the parking lot of the Azalea Boat launch which is across from the Atlanta Rowing Club Boathouse.   This parking lot can get full at times.   Please allow yourself enough time to find a parking spot and meet us at the pavilion.  There are bathrooms at this location.
