The Bartram is one of the major long trails in the Southeast...with about 38 miles in GA and the remaining 78 in NC. We will break down the GA section, into three hikes... Part 1 - Russell Bridge to Sandy Ford RoadNearly all of this section is actually part of the Chattooga River Trail as well. So we should get some nice views along the river. The terrain is relatively flat with some rolling hills but nothing major. An added bonus is that Dicks Creek Falls is near the end of this section. (Elevation profile from the book "Long Trails of the Southeast" by Johnny Malloy...good read.)
