Itinerary:

Lake Seed is a 240 acre reservoir with 13 miles of shoreline, located in Rabun County, in the northeastern corner of Georgia and is formed by the Nacoochee Dam over the Tallulah River.

It is the second lake in a six-lake series that follows the original course of the Tallulah River.

The boat ramp and parking area are located on Lake Seed Road at GPS coordinates N 34.769302 and W 83.510311.

This paddle is suitable for beginners, but remember that it is flat water, so consistent paddling will be required and wind conditions can affect the level of difficulty.

This is a bring your own boat (kayak or canoe) event and you  must be able to obain your own equipment.

The promo picture above shows the route that we are planning to take.  There is a small beach and picnic area where we will stop to eat our lunch/snack.

Notes:

There is no restroom at the put-in.  There is one available at our lunch spot.
