Hyde farm is a hidden little gem where the land and buildings preserve one of the last remaining farms in Cobb County. The original log cabin from the 1830s still exists within the farmhouse.

We will hike along Mulberry Creek to parts of the Johnson Ferry North section of the Chattahoochee and then return back. The trail is mostly flat but there are several rock crossings so hiking poles are recommended. We will keep a moderate pace with a couple of stops for water breaks along the way.

There is a bathroom in the building near the parking lot. Allow extra time if you will need to go.

Parking is free but also very limited so arrive early.

We will meet at 9:50 AM for introductions and leave promptly at 10 AM.

Follow Hyde Rd and just past the gazebo (but before the gate) you will see parking on the left and right. Parking is free.
