Itinerary:

Our hike will take us on a moderately paced walk along the very flat Riverwalk path that starts at Riverside Park. Some of our walk will be on a paved surface, with the rest on a relatively flat wooded trail. We'll head toward Don White Park, just down the road, and go through that park and beyond until we've covered 2 miles; then, we'll turn around and retrace our steps back to the parking lot.

Some of the wooded trails might be wet from recent rain, so wear shoes suitable for getting a little wet. If the wooded trail is too muddy, we'll stick to the sidewalks.

We will begin the hike promptly at 9 am, so arrive 10 minutes early to use the restroom and meet the other folks. We'll gather in the parking lot at Riverside Park near the bathrooms. There is ample parking in the lot, so park wherever you like.

We'll enjoy the scenic Chattahoochee River and friendly conversation on this "easy" afternoon hike.

Restrooms are open at the park, so allow time to use them before the hike.

Required Items to Bring:

Water (even though it's not a tough hike)

Hiking shoes (since some of our walk will be through the woods)

Recommended Items to Bring:

Hiking poles are NOT needed!
