Itinerary:

This is a special hike to help Joyce in her recovery.  The Director of Events has given his OK to limit attendees to members who know Joyce and have been trying to see her. 

We'll hike around the Cochran Shoals fitness loop at a leisurely pace so everyone can spend time with Joyce.

Directions

From I-285 East

  • Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
  • Left for 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road
  • Go left, cross the Chattahoochee and take an immediate LEFT onto Columns Drive.
  • ·Stay on Columns Drive for about 2.6 miles, which will end at the unit.

From I-285 West

  • Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
  • Right for 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road
  • Go left, cross the Chattahoochee and take an immediate LEFT onto Columns Drive.
  • Stay on Columns Drive for about 2.6 miles, which will end at the unit.

From GA 9 North (Roswell Road)

  • Take Roswell Road to Johnson Ferry Road.
  • Left onto Johnson Ferry Road go about 2.2 miles.
  • Cross the Chattahoochee River and take an immediate left onto Columns Drive.
  • Stay on Columns Drive for about 2.6 miles, which will end at the unit.

From GA 9 South (Roswell Road)

  • Take Roswell Road to Johnson Ferry Road.
  • Right onto Johnson Ferry Road go about 2.2 miles.
  • Cross the Chattahoochee River and take an immediate left onto Columns Drive.
  • Stay on Columns Drive for about 2.6 miles, which will end at the unit.

We will meet at the Cochran Shoals Columns Drive parking lot.  150 Columns Drive, Marietta, GA 30067

Please arrive at 9:50 for introductions.  Restrooms are available.

Cost Includes:

$5.00 park fee, unless you have a yearly CRNRA or lifetime NPS America the Beautiful pass.
