Itinerary:

Join us this Monday morning at Roswell Area Park - - a very large athletic facility that is very popular with area residents. There are lots of trails around the park that are a mix of packed gravel and asphalt. The trails are nice and wide and wind through lots of soccer and baseball fields as well as some wooded areas and a pretty lake. Some ArtAround Roswell sculptures are in the park, wo we'll get a little culture along with our exercise.

We'll be walking at a steady, moderate pace. Definitely not fast.

As you drive into park, we'll gather in the first lot on the left. If it is full, you can park along the road.

Please arrive by 9:50 am to use the restroom and meet your fellow hikers. We'll be starting on time (10 am).

This is a dog-friendly park, with many pets on the trail. Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Required Items to Bring:

water, gatorade or whatever you like to keep hydrated (important)
good walking shoes

Poles are NOT needed on this hike, but you're welcome to use them for upper-body exercise. There are no roots or rocks on the gravel paths.

Meet in the first parking lot on your left after you enter the park from Woodstock Road. Park along the road if the lot is full.
