Itinerary:
Let's hike Kennesaw mountain Environmental and 24 Gun Trail! We will meet at OVERFLOW PARKING LOT, which is different trailhead.
 
This is one of the rare FAST D1 events. This will be a time based hike of 1 hour.  Set our watches for 30 minutes and when the alarm goes off retrace our steps back to begining for total of 1 hour hiking.The terrain is mixed with some dirt trails, paved paths, rocky forest.

We will start promptly so plan to arrive a little early to check in and meet the group.

Park at the Overflow lot (also called new visitor parking lot) on old US Hwy 41.

Entrance Fees:

Kennesaw Mountain Entrance Fee - Per Vehicle Daily Fee - $5.00

This fee can be paid for online at recreation.gov, at the automated fee machine located at the Old Hwy 41 parking area, or at the Visitor Center between 9 am and 5 pm daily. Purchases can be made with card only, no cash accepted. 

Kennesaw Mountain Entrance Fee - Per Vehicle Annual Fee - $40.00

This fee can be paid for online at recreation.gov, at the automated fee machine located at the Old Hwy 41 parking area, or at the Visitor Center between 9 am and 5 pm daily. Purchases can be made with card only, no cash accepted.
