Rescheduled: ATLANTA BELTLINE EASTSIDE ARTSY SCENIC 6.5 MILE RUN (RUN-WALK-RUN TYPES WELCOME)

Join us for this 6.5 mile run on the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail!

You're welcome to set your own run pace. Run-walk-run types are welcome. This is not a hike or walking event, but a fun run.

Start to Finish:

We will start our group run at Krog Street Market, the perfect place to grab a pre or post-run coffee, hot chocolate or tea. We’ll jog (or run walk, or skip, or hop, or moonwalk, or whatever you fancy) from Krog Street Market onto the new section of the Eastside Beltine Trail headed to Reynoldstown - Memorial Drive (1.1 miles), turnaround and head back (1.1.miles) to the second segment of the Eastside Beltine Trail to 10th & Monroe (2.1 miles). At the end of the Beltline Trail, we will return back to Krog Street Market. We will also briefly jump off the trail to see the Historic Old Fouth Ward Park, where we’ll take a group photo and pretend we’re tourists. It’s a beautiful run and you might even discover some hidden gems along the way.  

Total running distance is approximately 6.5 miles. Finishing time can vary depending on pace so please be flexible.

If you’re not able to keep up with the group, don’t worry! You can always take a break and enjoy the scenery. Just remember to bring a compass, a map, and a flare gun in case you get lost.  

But seriously, we do try to stick together and make sure everyone is accounted for. If you do get separated from the group, just follow the Beltline trail back to Krog Street Market. 

Remember, it’s not all just about the running speed and pace, it’s about the journey and chance to be among AOC friends. So let’s lace up our running shoes and hit the Beltline!

Additional Information:

On our run, we will pass by Krog Street Tunnel, Ponce Market, Fourth Ward Skatepark, Historic Old Fouth Ward Park, several restuarants, artsy murals & street art, tiny doors (Beltline – Tiny Doors ATL, and more!

What better way to start a weekend than with a Saturday morning run!

Optional: Join us for coffee/tea or hot chocolate, pastry, etc. after the run at Krog Street Market. You're responsible for your own cost and waistline :)
