Itinerary:

Join me for a hike at Panola Mountain to Alexander Lake.

I've mapped out this route we will be taking... ish.

 

Please arrive early to find and pay for parking. It's $5 if you don't have a state park pass. Our meeting spot is the playground. See "directions" below.

After roll call... We will take the visitor's trail to the lake loop trails, doing a figure 8 around both the lower and upper lake. We will be hiking at a moderate pace on the paved path, and a slower pace going around the lakes with a break to enjoy the views.

After you turn into the park...

Approximately 600 ft down the drive is a playground (on your right)

Go past the playground, and there will be several parking lots to choose from...

We will be meeting at the playground (the red circle)
